Mindfulness–Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week meditation course that has been
scientifically proven to reduce stress and buoy inner resilience. Developed in 1979 by
Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, an MIT-trained microbiologist, MBSR has been taught to many tens
of thousands of students world wide. Due to it's standardized format, it has been used as the
meditation protocol in hundreds of scientific research studies which demonstrated a wide
variety of positive outcomes across a wide domain of research topics.
