About our special guests NENAS RUDAS (dj duo powerhouse)
▼I$LA is the producer and resident DJ of AZUCAR -- Brooklyn's hottest underground queer dance party. This LA grrrl blends her love of island and border sounds with 90s hip hop, pop and electronic beats. She is one half of Las Nenas Rudas with Philly's Precolumbian, taking over dance floors with a mixture of global bass and shameless pop. Most recently, I$LA performed along side carioca bass diva Zuzuka Poderosa and will be opening for Maluca Mala and Princess Nokia later this summer.

▼Precolumbian is a Philadelphia based genderqueer DJ, musician, and media activist. She has been transforming dance floors from Brooklyn to Mexico City, sharing the stage with Big Freedia, Kid Sister, Niña Dioz, Mykki Blanco, and Zuzuka Poderosa. She is one half of popular Philly queer dance party Cutn Paste and resident DJ of Brooklyn's underground global music party, Azucar. Most recently, Precolumbian was honored with the 2013 Leeway Transformation Award for her innovative work... in the club.
▼Maracuyeah- bringing DC tropical sounds & creating spaces, has invited over 55 touring artists in the last 3 years, repping especially many dope woman identified artists, badass queer artists, and a majority Latina/o identified artists.
