Free Rome Show Vanguards Urban Street Art Festival 2014

"Avant-garde Roma Street Urban Art Festival 2014" in the exhibition free of charge from 1 April to 31 July 2014.

Vanguards Roma Street Urban Art Festival 2014 comes to Rome with over 30 of the best Italian and international street artists and promote Roma in the European Capital of street art. The interventions of the artists on the urban context riqualificheranno some neighborhoods and different nodal centers and historical sites of the city life.

The festival is conceived and promoted by the associations and Roam 999Contemporary and edited by Stephen S. Antonelli.

The work of Clemens Behr, 27 years of Koblenz, has to support the entire building Atac, next to the Metro stop Garbatella. It ranks in the visual scenario that includes the new bridge that connects the Ostiense neighborhood and Garbatella and the gasometer, the symbol of Rome 'modern'. Constructed as a continuous stream of geometric abstraction from the monumental breath, puts into practice a concept that is at the heart of this festival: the emancipation and the transposition of street art from the 'wall' entire urban architecture.

The festival will culminate with two major events held in collaboration with Roma Capitale and Macro - Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome: an international conference on the future of visual panorama of the city, at the museum in Via Nizza, and a great show with free admission to the Future of Macro Testaccio, which from June to August will feature the most important French and Italian artists in a comparative path between the languages ​​of the new generation of street art.

The commissioner of public works and capitulate to the suburbs, Paolo Masini, said: 'The work of Clemens Behr is an interesting and significant intervention in the creative and participatory process of discovery and exploitation of the' great beauty 'of our suburbs where we are working on in recent months. From Garbatella to other areas of our suburbs, being born a path of listening and speaking neighborhoods: a path that actually involves many young people of our city, and that will bring in the coming months to the redevelopment of many areas of our own suburbs starting from 'street art'.
