***2014 LIVE BANDS***

-- CENTREFOLDS --

“If Foals & Radiohead went out for a few drinks but bumped into Everything Everything and LCD Soundsystem on the way, you’d get part of the picture. Thing is, on the way back they stumbled into Ryan Adams & Patrick Watson in the kebab shop who were having a deep & meaningful conversation over a Chicken Doner about the illicit relations between Elbow and Queens of the Stone Age. It had all been a tremendous affair and got a lot of people worryingly aroused, including Soulwax, The Beatles, Muse, Bombay Bicycle Club and Darwin Deez”… Okay, so thats their story.

But in all seriousness, this unapologetic, hook-laden, Indie-Rock four piece with intuitive and infectious song writing skills have been busy catching the ears of the masses, including, BBC Introducing & 6 Music, Absolute Radio and NME. Centrefolds, who have been together since 2011 are bound to do the same to you.

Thomas Corneill (Guitar &Vocals), Phil Smith (Guitar and Vocals), Martin Iles (Drums) and Alex McClean (Bass), are proud to present themselves as Centrefolds, the headline band for the TimeOut stage 2014!

-- Nishe --

A three piece Indie-Rock band coming all the way for London, Nishe, played their first note together just under a year ago. Immediately finding the perfect sound that made everyone understand that they’re a force to be reckoned with, the solid, tight and crunchy sound of these three perfectly matches their songs which contain a surprising blend of catchy melodies and energetic riffs.

This year, Nishe, Giovanni Zappa (lead vocals & guitar), Harold Wilson (bass & backing vocals) and Thomas Romer-Smith (drums & backing vocals), are bound to turn your head when they take to the TimeOut Stage.

-- Never A Hero --

An alternative metal band from Sudbury, Never a Hero formed back in 2009 when the members of two separate bands merged to create something different to their usual styles.

Boasting support from the BBC, Karrang and Total Rock Radio, Phrixus (Lead Vocals), Mickey Thin (Guitar & Vocals), Kaji 2.0 (Lead Guitar), KB (Vocals & Bass) and Daisy Lai (Drums & Samples), who are Never a Hero, are bound to catch your attention at this years Keynsham Music Festival.

-- Day Of A Thousand --

Day of a Thousand are a progressive, technical and melodic metal group hailing from the suburbs of Bristol. Together since 2011 and always impressing the audiences with their unique sound, these locals are bound to make you want to be the conductor of the mosh-pit.

Please welcome, Josh Gallop (Vocals), Jack Barrett (Guitar), Chris Illing (Guitar), Jon Worgan (Bass) and Kieran Gallop (Drums) as Day of a Thousand.

-- Circle Of Reason --

With everything from melodic Guitar riffs to chugging bass and soaring choruses with warm vocals, Circle of Reason are a great way to kick off the ‘heavier’ bands for the TimeOut Stage this year.

Reigning from Southampton and with a huge variety of songs to keep you interested Circle of Reason are likely to get you spinning in a circle whilst baling your eyes out to a crazy Metal influenced Rock Ballad.

-- THIN VISION --

4 young lads from the ‘Shire out to have fun…

All from Bishops Castle in Shropshire and out gigging most weekends, this band have already claimed an amazing amount of experience and are set to take the TimeOut Stage by storm.

Please make sure that you give, Ollie Farr (Guitar & Lead vocals) Harry Curtis-Evans (Guitar), Jordan Williams (Drums) and Joe Colvin Bass guitar & Backing vocals)/Jake Evans (Deputy Bass), a very warm welcome as Thin Vision!

-- DERRY - the band --

This years opening band on the TimeOut Stage, Derry!

Based in Bristol the band are; Loui George (Lead singer), J Robberechts (Keyboard), Will Allen (Lead Guitar), Brandon Hicks (Bass) and Mattia Collu (Drums).

- MC Dibbley

Dwain Beachm or, MC Dibbley, is yet another Drum and Bass MC out of Bristol. His journey into music started at the age of 21 where he started out to learn to DJ the genre of music known as Happy Hardcore. As time went on he decided to hang up the headphones and pick up the microphone as his passion for MCing grew. Over time, as Dibbley learnt his style and progressed with music, himself and his good friend DJ Pigeon began to get into the evolving scene of Drum and Bass.

Now Dibbley is delighted to have another set, alongside MC Skye, with Pigeon as it will definitely bring a different atmosphere to the stage and bring back some crazy memories for themselves.
