***2014 LIVE BANDS***
-- CENTREFOLDS --
“If Foals & Radiohead went out for a few drinks but bumped into Everything Everything and LCD Soundsystem on the way, you’d get part of the picture. Thing is, on the way back they stumbled into Ryan Adams & Patrick Watson in the kebab shop who were having a deep & meaningful conversation over a Chicken Doner about the illicit relations between Elbow and Queens of the Stone Age. It had all been a tremendous affair and got a lot of people worryingly aroused, including Soulwax, The Beatles, Muse, Bombay Bicycle Club and Darwin Deez”… Okay, so thats their story.
But in all seriousness, this unapologetic, hook-laden, Indie-Rock four piece with intuitive and infectious song writing skills have been busy catching the ears of the masses, including, BBC Introducing & 6 Music, Absolute Radio and NME. Centrefolds, who have been together since 2011 are bound to do the same to you.
Thomas Corneill (Guitar &Vocals), Phil Smith (Guitar and Vocals), Martin Iles (Drums) and Alex McClean (Bass), are proud to present themselves as Centrefolds, the headline band for the TimeOut stage 2014!
-- Nishe --
A three piece Indie-Rock band coming all the way for London, Nishe, played their first note together just under a year ago. This year, Nishe, Giovanni Zappa (lead vocals & guitar), Harold Wilson (bass & backing vocals) and Thomas Romer-Smith (drums & backing vocals), are bound to turn your head when they take to the TimeOut Stage.
