"Immer wenn ich einen Song höre, versuche ich, Parallelen zu anderen Bands aufzubauen. Keine Ahnung, warum. Wahrscheinlich, weil ich will verstehen will, wo der Sound herkommt, oder was ihn inspiriert haben könnte. Das ist spannend. Man könnte hier jetzt die wildesten Spekulationen aufstellen: Sonic Youth meets Nirvana meets Sex Pistols meets Beach Boys? Vielleicht lass ich es auch lieber.
Was man aber sagen kann, ist, dass das Quintett Zentralheizung of Death den Garage Punk-Sound, international befeuert von Leuten wie Ty Segall, auch in Deutschland wieder zum Leben erweckt hat. Apropos Ty Segall, mit dem waren sie bereits auf Tour, nun sind sie ab kommender Woche solo unterwegs und malträtieren die Gehörgänge halb Europas. Bei einem Pegel von 120 Dezibel. Presslufthammerstärke. Voll auf die Fresse. Und das ist was Gutes. ZHOD stehen halt für grenzenlose Musik, geografisch genau wie zeitlich. Hört hier einen ersten Teaser auf das im April auf Aliensnatch Records erscheinende Album Would You Rather...? und geht zu einem der vielen Konzerte."

Revive the vibe of the CLONE DEFECTS. In the meantime they shared stages with TY SEGALL, THEE OH SEES, THE STRANGE BOYS, THE FEELING OF LOVE and some other THE's. This is Warsaw, not LA! So if look for the new buzz & ambition and aesthetic allure make sure to have kleenex to wipe the spit & sweat out your face first.
