AUTHOR AND PUNISHER: We saw A&P perform at Digital Ferret CDs a few years ago and were immediately entranced. We've seen bands that make music with machines, but never one that makes machines to make music with. Tristan Shone tells a computer how to build machines from scratch that he can play music with. If you're expecting techno-pop, guess again; dark, heavy industrial doom-metal is what's on the menu. Take a behind-the-scenes look with the video link below.
STAGE TIME - 10:35pm
IRIS: One of our absolute favorite performers returns to Dracula's Ball, having just completed a successful tour of Europe. Iris plays some of the catchiest, most addictive synthpop music we've ever heard. Several of their songs consistently appear on club playlists around the world, thanks to smooth, emotive vocals and masterful hooks. If you'd like to feel uplifted, this is a band you have to see. They'll be playing favorites as well as tracks from their brand-new album, Radiant.
STAGE TIME - 12:05am
SAMANTHA DIAZ: What's great music without dancing? International celebrity dancer and choreographer Samantha Diaz will perform at the Ball, showcasing
not only her belly dance moves but Latin fusion as well. 2013 saw her touring China as a dancer and staying in the Ukraine to choreograph a "So You Think You Can Dance" TV spinoff. Originally from Peru, Diaz is now one of New York City's most sought-after performers and dance instructors. She'll perform between the band's live shows.
Jet and Annabel Evil from VampireFreaks.com will be the DJs for the 21+ room at the Ball, and there will be plenty of VF giveaway items to be found around the venue. DJ Addam Bombb returns to spin the main floor.
We're also pleased to announce the addition of Chemical Crew go-go dancers, who will be on both stages as well as around the club.
