Circo Side-show ft. KELE, ODESZA, HAYDEN JAMES - Metro Theatre

The Metro Theatre 624 George Street, Sydney NSW, Australia

Whilst Circo has become Perth's hottest fresh-faced festival bringing some of the world's coolest wave-makers to their shores, Sydney and Melbourne were left ogling at the quality of talent parading on the other side of the continent. Never one to leave you high and dry, Falcona touring today announce the Circo sideshows, featuring Bloc Party frontman Kele, Seattle-based duo Odesza and the Barry White of EDM, Hayden James. Happening on June 25 at 170 Russell in Melbourne and June 26 at The Metro in Sydney, tickets are on sale now. You can thank us later.

Bloc Party frontman, Kele Okereke brings his solo deep house project to the East side. Collaborating with the likes of Hudson Mohawke and dropping his debut LP, The Boxer, Kele waved bye-bye to distorted guitar riffs and hello to electronica. His newest release Heartbreaker recently dropped on UK dance label, Crosstown Rebels to critical acclaim. Featuring old Bloc Party faves in this party DJ set, prepare to lose your shit.

Seattle-based two-piece Odesza make their overdue first Australian tour, bringing their unique blend of sample-based beats and sunkissed melodies. Their debut Summer's Gone brimmed with slick beats and beautiful vocal samples and saw them invited to play the likes of Coachella. Clad with their trademark delicate, dreamy melodies, sweeping basslines and glitched vocals, be the first to see them in action as they grace our shores for the first time.

Wrapping up his national tour alongside dance music poster boys, RÜFÜS, and set to drop his brand new single next week, Sydney's sultriest producer Hayden James will round out the bill. His debut single, Permission to Love almost broke the internet when it dropped this time last year, showcasing his impeccable production chops. Coupled with the release of his EP lauded as "fucking great," see for yourself why Hayden James is an integral part of the new stable of Aussie's best producers. Listen here.
