★ BAiLdSA DeeP ΔόΝτιΑ Balkan-NΤέRty Reggae-Gypsy Punk PARTY ★
On Sunday, 8/6 BAiLdSA live at @All Eagles Festival in Tirana (AL)!!!
All Eagles is essentially a world music festival with a strong drive in promoting diversity within equality. Apart representative music from each country, which stands for the core pillar of the event, it also points out respective cultural aspects from the world.
The main idea is to hold a 3-day music event initially confined to and with a feasible focus on foreign embassies in Albania. While ethnic music from each country will be on the centre of the attention, contemporary adaptations and inter-genre fusions will be encouraged, as long as the very ethnic root of performances remains intact.
Since forming in 2008, BAiLdSA evolved progressively grafting new elements from ska-punk, reggae, rap, even indie/post-rock in the already existing balkan gypsy background, resulting in a unique and specific sound. In 2011, the band recorded their debut album “United States of Balkans” in Thessaloniki, Greece. This self-released album received great reviews, and helped build fans worldwide, though the band’s peak is while performing on stage. BAiLdSA’s energetic and explosive shows led to more than 150 concerts so far in Greece, Turkey, Macedonia and Bulgaria, numerous festival appearances and opening acts for bands such as Kultur Shock and Manu Chao.
In 2013 the band worked on their second album “zVarNa”, with producer Nikodemos T. The upcoming album, set to be released around June 2014, consists of more diverse elements, tying together the balkan and ska sounds with more blury indie soundscapes. This new album leans towards a more raw, punk rock-alternative sound while retaining the band's unique sonic footprint. Recorded in a more traditional, "old school" way and mixed entirely in analogue it delivers a fresh, lush and organic sounding track list, capturing the band's massive sound and energetic performance on stage.
