A Nardo back the cheese festival Salento

Party in casu is the appointment with the Salento cheese that awaits you on Sunday 27 and Monday July 28.

The appointment with the taste, organized by Neretina Our earth and the earth Gal Arneo in collaboration with the City of Nardo, is in the days of Sunday 27 and Monday July 28.

Casu Festival again this year to be held in two evenings, in Piazza Salandra, Via Duomo square Calvary and Piazza Pio XI, picturesque scenery for local people and tourists looking for local delicacies and traditions, the beauty of Puglia.

An extraordinary gastronomic event in which you eat after interacting directly with the manufacturer which explains the wide variety of cheeses, their origin, characteristics and the secrets of the process.

At the gastronomic offer of the mozzarella cheese and freshly prepared hot and stringy, Party at Casu alongside the tasting of locally produced meat, pettule, frize, pasta, fried fish, baked goods, in addition to beer and wine cellars neretine . The inspiration is that of Brusca at Casu, the festival hosted the cheese until a few years ago in Masseria Brusca of Porto Selvaggio.

A striking novelty of the third edition will be present at the opening of the event Sunday, July 27, the Dragons of the Cultural Traditions Trani, a group of jugglers, fire-eaters from the famous historical event of the week which takes place in medieval Trani and that every year retraces the magnificence of the medieval city of Bari and of the Apulia and all that attracts thousands of visitors.

As for the musical part of the evening of Sunday, July 27th will be declining guest (pizziche tarante) and Italian Bar (Italian music for dancing), while in the evening of Monday 28 Olivier will be up to the Y Confusion (rock, flamenco, funk and samba) and the Salento Italy Calls 2.0 (popular music and beyond reinterpreted in house, reggae, indie, funk, and ska).
