Speaking of history Blondie born in 1974, when a young hippie divisto between bankruptcy studies and experiments on guitar, Chris Stein, Blondie forms the core of the button, along with the former waitress and Playboy Bunny, Deborah Harry was born in Miami in 1945. The group makes the bones in the local New York become legendary for punk and new wave, among which the CBGB's and Max's Kansas City.
When in 1977 they released their first album, they already have a following to allow the band to play as a supporter of Iggy Pop and David Bowie. In 1979, after spending the last two years, releasing a second album that the band is known and loved in the UK and making a film, Debbie, along with producer Mike Chapman, found the perfect formula with "Heart Of Glass" which will become # 1 in the U.S. charts and hit success worldwide. The criticism, tired of punk, adores them immediately to the balance between pop, disco and new wave, and is consequential for the arrival of other hit singles such as "Dreaming", "Atomic" and "Call Me" written for the movie American Gigolo.
After a rest period, characterized by the dedication of Debbie film and solo career in 1998 to surprise Blondie back in the recording studio, the fruits of which are collected in the album "No Exit".
