Seminaria SOGNINTERRA, Third Edition

Seminaria Sogninterra is an environmental art festival that takes place in the medieval village of Maranola, inviting a group of artists to intervene in public and private places with installations, video, performance and sculpture, in an itinerary exhibition of about 1 kilometer from the viable 20:30 to 00:00. The artists of Seminaria Sogninterra 2014: Martina Angi, Andrea Aquilanti, Carlo Bernardini, Zaelia Bishop Vincenzo Core Iginio De Luca, Silvia Giambrone, Paris Marina, Down Pioventini, Philip Riniolo, Gino Sabatini Odoardi, Donatella Spaziani. The third edition of the festival was born after a brief period of reflection in which the association has decided to Seminaria biennalizzare this important event, in order to develop a new form of creation and participation, including curators, artists and residents. The cultural association founded in Seminaria Sogninterra Maranola in 2011 with the aim of promoting contemporary art and environmental art. A vision contested as a tool to make manifest not only the external features of the small village of Maranola but also the ability of its inhabitants endemic to enhance and support them. The art seen as an opportunity for knowledge and experience of the world. The curatorial research association focuses on art and environmental relationships, through site-specific installations that, in dialogue with the place and its inhabitants, envelop the viewer in an immersive fruition. A participatory production and distribution free in the belief that we can give life to an alternative model for a real economic, cultural and social development of the territory.
