From October 3 to 5 Piazza Duomo, the heart of the city of Bressanone, smells of bread. Back to the annual event with the traditional Market of the Bread and Strudel and bakers are preparing to churn, and to taste a product that is part of the culture in South Tyrol. In fact there are dozens of types of bread that carry the quality label Alto Adige from bread to fruit loaves Venosta "Vinschger Paarl," from black bread to the full, from the loaf pusterese "Pusterer Breatl" the typical rye crispbread (Schüttelbrot ) to conclude with sweets, from "Zelten" the apple strudel. For three days, visitors can immerse themselves in a party atmosphere, tasting and discovering the South Tyrolean traditions through demonstrations of bakers who will explain to visitors the ancient art of the bakers and the techniques and secrets of processing and cooking for the success of a good quality bread.
