Comacchio Jazz: Luca di Luzio Blue 4ett feat. Marco Tamburini

Luca di Luzio Blue 4ett feat. Marco Tamburini will offer a concert that ranges from blues to jazz, soul and funk with a sound that harks back to the 60s, interpreted by some of the biggest names of Italian jazz. Marco Tamburini - trumpet Luca di Luzio - guitar Luca Quartermaine - sax Andrea Bolognesi - Hammond organ Massimo Manzi - drums In Luca di Luzio Blue 4ett blues, jazz, soul and funk meet on sound harks back to the 60s by Grant Green, Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, where musicality is centered on the Hammond organ sound and marked by a powerful groove that is supported by a solid rhythm section. A quartet in which the melody and the groove emerge and dominate uncontested execution. The training brings together the great interpreters of Italian and international jazz scene: trumpeter Marco Tamburini, special guest of the training, the guitarist Luca di Luzio, Luca Quartermaine to sax, hammond organ and Andrea Bolognesi Massimo Manzi on drums. The concert starts at 21:00 at the Arena di Palazzo Bellini in Comacchio, free admission. The concert will also take place in case of bad weather inside Palazzo Bellini. Marco Tamburini, trumpeter and arranger began his professional career in jazz in 1984 participated in numerous festivals, including the Umbria Jazz Festival Jazz in Rome, Siena Jazz, Eurovision Song Contest in Ivrea, Dubai Jazz Festival, Jazz weeks in Basel Festival Tabarka Jazz, NC International Jazz Festival in Durham, North Carolina with Paul Jeffrey, John Hicks, Michael Carvin, J.Sea Festival of Rotterdam with Eumir Deodato. He performed in theaters and clubs in Italy and abroad, from Birdland in New York at the Theatre Megaro Athens to Paris with René Urtreger with Christian Escoudé, and Budapest with the Hungarian pianist Kalman Ola. He has worked and still works, as of trumpeter and arranger, with many pop singers, live and in the studio, including Lorenzo Jovanotti, Laura Pausini, Fabio Concato, Vinicio Capossela, Raf. During the months of June and July 2013 is named as trumpeter and arranger to be part of the Tour of Jovanotti in stadiums. This year, numerous collaborations and investments with international artists and festivals including the recent Time to jazz in 2014 where he presented his new album "Red" Luca di Luzio, guitarist from the formation eclectic and versatile style. He plays the electric, acoustic, classical and ranges from standard to bossa nova to funky, via fusion and blues. He has a creative talent and is involved in many musical projects in which it cooperates with many international artists. As part of his concert career he has collaborated with many Italian and international artists including: Roberto Spadoni, James Newton, Flavio Piscopo, Bob Stoloff, Stefano Peretto, Tom Sheret, Teo Ciavarella, Giancarlo schiaffini, Chica Piazzolla, Barend Midelhoff, Marco Tamburini James D. Monque, Kamila Staszkòw. With Benedetto Guitars, which is endorser, holding master classes at the Conservatory of Pesaro Pescara and along with Paul Howard (CEO of Benedetto Guitars) and at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, along with Garrison Fewell and Paul Howard. In 2013 participates in Umbria Jazz with Kamila Staszkòw, Acoustic Guitar Meeting in Sarzana, at the Musikmesse Frankfurt and NAMM in Los Angeles.
