The first, which starts Sept. 20, to continue even in October, Nano is better - The world in miniature, organized with the support of an important network of public and private entities; in fact the patronage of the Province of Turin, City of Turin, Venaria Reale, District 5, CSEN Turin International Book Fair, and can count on the collaboration of Italy in Miniature. The location is Area 12 Shopping Center in Turin, which provides an interesting space dedicated to science, to involve children and young people in schools in the province of Turin in a path of knowledge and information on the role of nanotechnology and future prospects associated with them. The project aims to bring pupils and students to the world of science and let them glimpse the goals that you can reach in areas such as the environment and human health due to the use of absolutely innovative technologies; through a structured didactic / educational, designed to actively involve and interest the students, they will explain to them the role that nanotechnology can play in medicine, environmental science, and science in general, to significantly improve the reality in which we live. One way to introduce young people to the world of science from a very young age, offering targeted activities. Nano is better - The World in Miniature offers two courses designed to provide teachers and students with a comprehensive and structured educational project: From September 20 to October 31: Competition and exhibition of the works of the boys contest Improving the quality of life with nanotechnology, collect ideas, suggestions, proposals for the kids to apply nanotechnology in various areas of everyday life and the world in which we live. The works carried out will be collected in an exhibition until 31 October at Area 12 Shopping Center in Turin, where he held the entire project. The works will be voted through a dedicated card, the ones that receive the most votes will be awarded in the closing ceremony. From Saturday, September 20 everyone can propose their ideas by filling out the materials available in the Area 12 dedicated to the project. Depart Sunday, September 21 afternoon of science in environmental Animations devoted to the relationship between science and the environment. Children and young people will be able to deal with the world of the infinitely small, and discover, for example, as a molecule it is possible to reduce air pollution and significantly improve the quality of waste emitted by humans to a healthier lifestyle and environmentally friendly.
