~~The Dyes and Matt McVader Resurrect The Cramps!~~
It's become a yearly tradition for The Dyes and Matt McVader to unite and pay tribute to the late, great Lux Interior and resurrect The Cramps. Mr. Augie Barnhart of the Muddy Udders will be joining in on guitar as Bryan Gregory for this year's resurrection. Together, they will bring the oozing, throbbing, scuzzy rock 'n' roll to life once more.
~~ L'Assassins ~~
L’Assassins’ surf- and rockabilly-tinged garage sound has landed them spots opening for many of their heroes, including Runaways frontwoman Cherie Currie and Andre Williams. In 2012, just a year after playing their first show, the band was handpicked to perform at the inaugural Girls Got Rhythm Fest, opening for Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ronnie Spector (of the Ronettes), Japan’s the 18.104.22.168’s and Detroit bubblegum legend Nikki Corvette.
While songs like “Backseat Bomp” immediately conjure classic artists like Spector and the 22.214.171.124’s – not to mention the Trashwomen, the Cramps, the Sonics and Wanda Jackson – L’Assassins never sound like a throwback. "We take a lot of our style and sound cues from different periods, but I don't think we put ourselves in any definable box," explains singer Tea Simpson.
~~Amazing Heeby Jeebies ~~
AMAZING HEEBY JEEBIES was born in the back seat of a '63 Caddy tearing down Chicago's 41. Amazing Ary and Earl "Wolfdaddy" knew they had created something that could be a sinners delight marking their turf claiming the amazed.
AMAZING HEEBY JEEBIES have opened for national acts such as the famous Standells, The Blasters, JD McPherson and Rosie Flores. Soon they will be opening for their idol KID CONGO POWERS & His Pink Monkey Birds.
AMAZING HEEBY JEEBIES have performed their Cramps Tribute as "Poison Ary & the Gore Hounds". Fans are convinced if Poison Ivy & Lux Interior had a twisted hipshakin' love child, it would be Ary.
Best described as "Dixiefried Garagabilly" drawing on various eras and genres from hillbilly southern boogie, gritty blues, 60's garage punk, deep from the underworld of moody psychotic rock n roll!
