Return the long-awaited appointment with the course of approach to wine "Spirit of wine in the cellar," a unique opportunity to meet old and new friends in the company of fine wines! In a land like in Friuli, where the wine remains one of the strongest bonds with our origins, the courses 'Spirit of Wine' have the aim of spreading the culture of drinking well, with awareness and responsibility by analyzing the essential elements that we allow you to learn the tools to better appreciate this divine nectar, which comes from our region and that becomes valuable thanks to the care that lends the wine grower. The particularity of the events "the Spirit of wine in the cellar," lies in the fact of being in direct contact with the producers, who have no way to tell with passion and professionalism, their work and their wines.
The course consists of four sessions, each of which occupies some of the most renowned wineries associated with the Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia and attended by teachers, winemakers and industry experts. Unlike the basic course, which aims to convey the basics of the philosophy of drinking well, the advanced course aims to investigate some excellent local wines from Friuli, as Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Schiopettino and Refosco.
Despite the advanced course arises as a natural continuation of the path taken during the basic course, the meetings are open to anyone who is interested in pursuing some aspects of the fascinating world of wine, as always with the philosophy of "see what you drink!"
Classes will start on Friday, October 17th from Draga (San Floriano del Collio) with guest Crastin® of Collarig Sergio to continue Friday, October 24 at Torre Rosazza (Oleis, Location Poggiobello) with guest Ferruccio Sgubin and accompanied by delicious meat supplied by 'Azienda Agricola Bergamasco Sandro. The course will continue Friday, October 31 from Valchiarò (Torreano) with guest Accordini and will end Friday, November 7 at Camino al Tagliamento at Ferrin with host Paul Isola Augusta.
Each evening will begin at 19 pm with a guided tour of the winery host, which will be followed, starting at 20, the real lesson that, in addition to the theoretical part, will consist of a practical part, during which will be tasted wines of the wineries involved. The cost of the course, including the course material, is € 120.
