There is a time for the hectic life and one for a slower pace, there are places to cross racing and others in which to walk calmly. In the middle of this space-time continuum lies a land that has been able to skillfully dosed modernity and tradition: Albinea, famous for its ancient production and a keen eye for innovation. Albinea meet, closely united in a solid balance, the richness of the land and generous man's ingenuity. So it happens that you are attracted to Albinea by the scents and flavors evocative of rural life, of the harmony that unites man and his environment in the slow scan of the seasons and time. Those scents and flavors return on the occasion of the Feast of Autumn "Greaves Balsamic" scheduled Saturday, 25 and Sunday, October 26 at Albinea (RE). Here then is the gastronomy and wine, strong and sincere at the same time, the flagship of the entire community, is celebrated every year to bring them back to the place of honor of our tables. In a long week and the Central Square Albinea will see products that are simple and robust as the Greaves, alongside other, more sophisticated and demanding, such as the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia. An alchemy of flavors in the true Made in Italy and the local production, where to do tastings and discover, among other things, the versatility of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia, able to marry with a multitude of dishes, from 'appetizer to dessert, until the fruit. Among the numerous stands and exhibitors the districts of Albinea, Montericco, Borzano and the Osteria della Fola, prepare and present the traditional flavors of our land: fried dumpling, erbazzone, typical cakes, lambrusco, roasted chestnuts, crackling, gravy and lots of grapes other. In collaboration with the Consortium of Reggio Emilia ABT will be guided tours and tastings at the Vinegar Hall, located in the attic of the beautiful "Villa Tarabini." To reach it, you can follow a route that will discover the wonders of the plant and the historic Parco della Villa Fontana di Garibaldi, fresh from a recent restoration. For the eighth consecutive edition of the Palio Greaves invite you to single combat the local butchers, while the producers of balsamic vinegar will do battle with the Competition Balsamica Bonissima. In the rich programming space will present the book "Guide Salumi of Italy" by Sabatino Sorrentino, Curator of the work and master sommelier. Speakers Enzo Vizzari, Director of the Guide de l'Espresso and Andrea Grignaffini, Coordinator and Technical Supervisor (journalist, food critic). The event, organized by the Municipality of Albinea and the Pro Loco, part of the efforts aimed at exploiting the gastronomy of Reggio Emilia and typical agri-food production.
