Tales of the essential

Via San Barnaba 48, Milan, Italy

Opening: Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 18.00 Hours: daily 10:00 to 20:00 Admission free The exhibition from October 18 in the inner cloister of Wisteria - at the Humane Society of Milan - paintings and sculptures by Pierluigi Montani. The roots of his artistic career, as he writes Clara Carpanini, date back to the season in which informal recovers, especially a focus on the physicality of the work together with the strong sense of color, here played mostly on blue-green tones. (...) But it would be a mistake, approaching to the work of Montani, stop at the surface of the painting and not go beyond; those Montani - as well-known Alessandro Azzoni in his critical reading - are works from which to distill an elixir of memory, following allusions to the recipe that the artist has concealed. So not only paintings animated by a precise aesthetic and technical research, but also by the silence of a reflection on the self and the social, which led the artist to scratch against the path - that of his personal self, or the human condition. Every viewer will find his story, if it can then reconnect the traces scattered throughout the image, and follow the shadows imprinted in color. Pierluigi Montani, Piacenza, graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, has been working as an architect in Parma, where he is also Professor of Art of modeling the section of Architecture and Art School of the Environment "Paolo Toschi." Among the pictorial experiences of recent years include: in 2012 not tell you everything, the staff at Rocca di Borgonovo Val Tidone, Painting and surroundings, exposure to the former Slaughterhouse Fiorenzuola d'Arda, in addition to recent staff last November in Budapest to Brody Studios with Praise to uncertainty. His works are in the permanent MIM Museum of San Pietro in Cerro, at the Fondazione Sella di Lodrignano and from the administration of Fiorenzuola. www.aarchitetti.com pierluigimontani@aarchitetti.com Edited by Fondazione D'Ars Oscar Signorini non-profit organization c / o Humane Society, Davenport 7 Via Milano - t. 02 860290 - info@fondazionedars.it - www.fondazionedars.it
