Located in the Castello Sforzesco, the Museum of Ancient Art collects sculptures and objects dating from the early Christian period and the Middle Ages to the Renaissance particularly related to the art of Lombardy and Milan. Is one of the most significant collections of northern Italy. Among the 2000 pieces on display are distinguished in particular the burial monument of Bernabo Visconti, the funerary monument to Gaston de Foix masterpiece Bambaja and the splendid bust of Mora. Closes the exposure the famous Michelangelo's Pietà Rondanini.
