From 18 to 19 October 2014 will be held in the highest village in the province of Latina, Max Rocca, the ninth edition of the "Festival of Brown" .The event, which started nine years ago as a party, it immediately became a big party that flows over time has attracted more and more citizens. With the aim of enhancing and promoting the best production of chestnuts Max Rocca, "I BROWN", but also Max Rocca and flavors of our land, was founded five years ago the Association "Chestnut Max Rocca," promoter and organizer of the festival. The event schedule is packed with events, including flavors, art and traditions that aim to revive the flavors and the simplicity of the past. Among the events show the characteristic figure-photo contest "Ri ... click the chestnut" that involved with the passing of the years, an increasing number of participants: indeed, it is open to all professional photographers, amateur and all those who cultivate a passion for photography, which with their art are intended to enhance the beauty of the chestnut, territories and castanicoli in the first place ... the "brown". Continuing the tradition of previous years, the parade will be organized with the participation of Medieval Rampant Lion Flag Wavers of Cori (LT), of knights that accompany some pageboy, the old town up to the main square, site of the festivities, to hand over the torch to the mayor to light the brazier that from the beginning of the festival. New this year is the fourth thrilling Gathering of the tractor, the first rally Trucks, to which all are invited to participate with vehicles and farm implements, and even a face painting for the little ones amused. Also featured will be the fantastic motorcycles and vintage cars directly from Pontinia (LT).
