From Imperia Expo 2015 in Milan: This is the journey that is preparing to take the Forum of Imperia and the Mediterranean Diet which will be officially starting the weekend 13 to 16 November when its in the capital of Western Liguria will meet the representatives of the thirteen Mediterranean countries participating in Re.COMed. to talk not only about nutrition, but also nutrition education, economy, culture, medicine and health. An event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Imperia and Promimperia special company - now in its fourth edition - which has already received five major sponsorships, ie the MIUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research), MIPAAF (Ministry Agriculture, Food and Forestry), Italian National Commission for UNESCO, the European Commission Representation in Italy and Milan Expo 2015. That fact, to be held in Imperia in November will be a "special" edition, or better still, a start-up of works to be presented in the grand event to be held during the Expo 2015, precisely on September 11, 2015 in Milan at the auditorium of the Expo. More than just a chance to discuss the results of research carried out during the year, will be a meeting to start building the foundation for the "hot topics" to bring Expo 2015 in which the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle its principles will play a major role. Four will be the main thematic areas around which revolve the work of this edition. The first session, coordinated by Alberto Mattiacci La Sapienza University in Rome, will be held Friday, November 14th morning and will be dedicated to the theme of economic: the Mediterranean Diet encompasses several categories of production, drawing a perimeter of complex economic determination. The session aims - with an analysis of the stages of production, distribution, consumption and identification of food as a driver of tourism and brand - to propose reliable analytical insights, based primarily on the development of original official statistics, useful understand the status and economic potential of the Mediterranean Diet. The second session, scheduled for the afternoon will be devoted to medicine and health, and in particular will focus on the benefits that follow the principles inspired by the Mediterranean diet as a healthy lifestyle can lead to each individual. On the morning of Saturday 15 will open with the national event capitalization "MedDiet - Mediterranean Diet and enhancement of traditional products," strategic project funded by the European Union through the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin 2007-2013 Unioncamere national leader, the which conference entitled "The Mediterranean Diet: model of excellence to enhance and promote" coordinated by the National Association of Oil City will be moderated by journalist George Dell'Orefice. During the initiative will be compared experiences in order to define prospects and strategies for the future and at the end of which will be signed in the presence of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Andrea Olivero Declaration on the Mediterranean Diet which establishes a formal commitment on the part of international institutions for the promotion and preservation of the same. Sunday, November 16 morning, the fourth and final qualifying session of the Forum, coordinated by Mario Morcellini of the Department of Communication and Social Research at the University La Sapienza of Rome, will be devoted to the most cultural of the Mediterranean diet, and in particular its role in value chain of culture and communication, so that it can become a model for the development of eating habits in an educational perspective for the younger generation. The Forum, which will open officially with the opening ceremony on Thursday 13th, you will still also rich in events, such as the cooking show of the winner of the contest for Food Bloggers around the stands of Olioliva (Friday 14 at 17.00), the musical folk & jazz by Rice Patate'n'Folk + Four on Six Band (Friday 14 at 21.30) and the musical by IISG Ruffini IM (Saturday 15 at 21.30), both at the Auditorium Chamber of Commerce with free admission. Closing with a flourish Sunday, November 16, with the awards - always in the Auditorium - the winner of the contest Re.COMed "A menu for the MediterraneanDietDay" from the hands of Tom Mueller author of "Extra Virginity", followed by the presentation of certificates and ONAOO the official launch of the Forum at Expo 2015, starting the countdown to the fact that lead directly to the big event. During the same weekend Imperia Liguria will host also the stage of Girolio the twentieth anniversary of Italy, the tour organized by the National Association of Oil City in collaboration with the regional coordinators to celebrate the first twenty years of the association, was born in 1994, and also dedicated to the themes of Expo 2015. The day that will Girolio from Imperia is Friday, November 14th and the celebrations will be held in conjunction with the fourteenth edition of Olioliva, promotional event not only for the virgin but for the 'entire supply chain of olive and other excellent food in the area.
