About the Author

"This show is a challenge and a need. Having a place and people who believed in this project is a gift. All my shows are born from a suggestion, a title, a music, a phrase. This show was born from the many suggestions put together, was born from the need to "accept" that I perceived in people and in myself. When we realized that the change around us was not a passenger, as some would have us believe, we all found at a crossroads. Giving in to despair or hope again. But we still hope to develop and accept. We are still at the crossroads, there before, standing. Every day. And we must have the courage to sail serenely mutations in our daily life.
The challenge was to lay my comic writing in a Gothic, a mechanism is not suited to the beats and the farce, keeping the energy of profound poetry and truth. The answer came from the powerful emotions of the audience and tell them to end the show, "What did I see? I want to see him again. "
I want to clarify that there are scenes that are too strong or bloody, on this I would like to reassure the more reticent and (unfortunately) to disappoint fans of the "Grand Guignol". My intent was not to scare people for the fun of it, but to be honest with the emotional journey and narrative story suggested to me. I'm fine with my creative consciousness, but they are mostly in place with the "My Baby", which once again laughed a lot and was excited. I think the time has come, the time that everyone should know his Desmond, look at him without fear.

The sub-title I chose was "The Halloween comedy," which later became "The gothic comedy", this year we honor that first intuition and debuttiamo on the night of Halloween. It will be very pleasing to the audience that evening, to be made up and dressed in gothic style. And at the end of the performance the actors will be available for photos.

I'll be waiting (as I told the actors the first day of practice) to a place where you've never been ... but even I know where it is. When in doubt, let's meet all the BASEMENT! "Andrew Brown

The dress Sound
The original music of the show are by Alessandro Luchi, composer and musician Florence, who worked for years with Bruni. The dress ranges from the sound of the show of a circus atmosphere to those techno-Gothic, while maintaining a melodic sense of alienation that helps make "Desmond" a theatrical original and new.
