ELECTROSEXUAL vs DISCOBOX
With Discobox running for 2 years now and spinning to packed out nights at The Street night club every month, we thought we would join up with our scene partners in crime ELECTROSEXUAL for a one night only mega-party!
Electrosexual enjoyed over four amazing years of packed-out events at CC Blooms, with a host of Edinburgh's finest DJs guesting along the way.
We are bringing these two scene favourites together in the capitals finest, freshest party destination, the newly opened MASH HOUSE (Formerly GRV) which is now uber-stylish and completely remodelled. You just HAVE to check this place out. Edinburgh's next big thing for sure.
This WILL be a gay friendly night, we aim to create a welcoming clubbing experience for ALL. The Mash House has recently hosted gay Friendly nights like Mumbo Jumbo with huge success.
On the night we have Edinburgh's BIG ROOM double DJ act from the last 10 years:
TOMMY KAY (Luvely)
CLAUDIO (Eden/Its' All Good)
Joined by the ELECTROSEXUAL BOYS, reunited and back on the decks:
All of whom will be spinning you the very best of Electro bootlegs, house anthems and all the biggest floor-fillers from all eras of dance music.
The front room is where we keep it funky with Mr Discobox himself
Joined by one of the city's very best DJs and producers:
You can expect bar grooves from classics right up to cutting edge future disco all night long in the stunning front room.
So make sure you have FRIDAY 28th MARCH in your diary as we are expecting a sell out. Edinburgh's been aching for a new clubbing destination, and make no mistake, THIS IS IT!
Doors fly open at 10.30pm, and entry on the night is only £5 with an incredible 2 for 1 entry offer before 11.30pm.

Here's a bit more info on the DJs playing:
With over 15 experience as a DJ / producer, Tommy Kay has worked for some of the biggest club brands in the world such as: Cream, Gatecrasher, Miss Monnypennys, Hed Kandi, Rezerection, Dance Planet, Trade (London), and Pukka up in Ibiza.
CLAUDIO (IT’S ALL GOOD, EDEN, Illusion)
Claudio is one of Edinburgh’s most well known and respected DJ’s, having provided the City with a huge number of massive events over the years. His brand ‘So It Is’ was one of Edinburgh’s busiest club nights, selling out every single month and for anyone who ever went to the night will be able to tell you, it was one hell of a party. Claudio was also approached by Cream and Gatecrasher to hold events in Edinburgh on their behalf on more than one occasion and even now, his 2 latest creations ‘Its All Good’ and ‘Eden’ still sell out every single month at The Annexe and ‘Illusion at Cabaret Voltaire’ so its fair to say that this man knows how to run a successful club night.
It’s not only promoting though, he knows how to work a crowd too, his passion lies in Funky House but he always manages to make his sets exciting and relevant, that’s probably the reason why he was lucky enough to warm up for Eric Prydz, 2manydj’s, Duke Dumont and Darren Emerson in Edinburgh not so long ago, not many people can say they have done that.
With an impressive catalogue of releases and remixes on record labels worldwide Pacha Recordings (ESP) / Kontor Records (GER) / Nukleuz Records (UK) / Vamos Music / Housesession Records (GER) / Attractive Music (GER) / KULT Records (USA) and many others, David Bernardi is becoming one of the UK’s rising talents in the Electronic Dance world.
David has collaborated with and remixed for artists, bands, leading vocalists and world renowned producers Lenny Fontana (Defected) / Abigail Bailey (CR2 Records) / Flash Brothers (Armada Music) / Stedman Pearson (Five Star) / Shena (Hed Kandi Records) / The Arches (Notting Hill Music) and many more
Lucky is the mastermind behind Electrosexual, making it a household name on the gay scene for over 4 and a half years. He has enjoyed DJing in Ibiza three years running at various venues in San Antonio, and has played more than once in Dublin and Slovenia.
Back at home, the man can be found mashing things up at his residencies at Compression (where he has warmed up for Kutski and Andy Whitby), It's All Good with Claudio and Tommy Kay, and playing the disco vibes at Bar Luna and The Street.
You may be lucky enough to hear one of Lucky's very own bootlegs on the night ;)

Stuart has played for many top clubbing brands but his heart is with playing at his monthly event at newly opened street night club where he plays a mix of - disco house, funky house , b sides

THE MASH HOUSE:
Situated in the Cowgate, in close proximity to the Royal Mile and Grassmarket, this former church has recently been extended and extensively refurbished to provide a large multi-purpose venue going by the name of The Mash House (formerly known as The GRV, and, erm, myriad other names). The venue is primed and ready to become a key addition to Edinburgh’s clubbing scene, with rooms across three floors. Let's just think of it as party central, shall we?
