Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen is going planty for one night only!
On Tuesday, March 25th, in collaboration with retailer Citizen Stone, One Part Plant and executive chef Ed McIntosh (C.I.A. '06), Doc B's will be dishing out 100% plant-based menu items.
Guests are welcome anytime between 5 and 10 p.m.
Raise a glass of prosecco or hibiscus infused tea, and toast to enjoying the flavors of these chef-driven plant-based alternatives to Doc B’s mainstay offerings. In addition to their famous Housemade Veggie Burger, and Tangled Noodle Salad featuring tofu, new menu items will include:
-House-made guacamole served with herbed vegetable chips
-Summer rolls with a peanut dipping sauce
-Grilled baby artichokes with a roasted red pepper puree and an olive tapenade
-Arugala pomelo salad
-Rosemary and lentil wild rice pilaf
The plant-based menu will be a sneak peek at plant-based additions to Doc B's menu in the spring. The focus is on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The event, hosted by Alexis Cozzini of Citizen Stone, is meant to introduce guests to the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Cozzini wanted to share her experience with a plant-based diet after beginning several month's ago with One Part Plant's kick-start wellness program called "Master Plant".
"Plant-vangelist" Murnane believes eating plant-based is a lifestyle choice rather than a diet. She is known for bringing awareness to the plant-based lifestyle after a health scare in 2010. In addition to her certification in plant-based nutrition, Jessica’s work has been featured in publications such as House Beautiful, Oprah Magazine, and Real Simple.
