Heart of the Pachamama with Puma Fredy Quispe Singona
Celebrate the Transformative Energy of the Spring Equinox in Sacred Peru
September 17 - 24, 2014

Lake Titicaca
The Heart of Mama Cocha
September 24 - 28, 2014

Join us for the Heart of the Pachamama, a heart-opening spiritual journey to celebrate the Spring Equinox with Andean Medicine Man, Healer, and Wisdom Keeper, Puma Quispe Singona. This is a powerful journey, a journey that will guide you to liberate yourself from the energies of fear and ego towards a place of healing and clarity about your own life’s path. With Puma as our skilful guide, we will wind our way through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, pausing at sacred temples and spiritual sites, feeling the energy of this ancient land and taking the time needed to cleanse ourselves of heavy energies that are keeping us from fulfilling our dreams and destinies. Connect with the sacred trilogy of the Incas – the Puma, Serpent, and Condor – and learn about what the Incan elders believed of parallel dimensions. This sacred land is also full of colourful, fun, and enchanting places and peoples and we will visit authentic market places and vibrant, welcoming communities.

We begin our journey in Cusco with traditional Peruvian cuisine, a visit to the San Pedro market, and the architectural wonders and ancient sacred temples such as Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay, and Coricancha. At these sacred sites, Puma will guide us through ceremonies and help us connect with the ancestral lineages found within the caves and walls. We will make a memorable stop at Puma’s home village of Chinchero, with spectacular views over the Sacred Valley, and famed for its traditional weavings. We will hear stories, be welcomed by Puma’s family and friends, and enjoy this rare opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the local community. We will participate in a special Despacho Ceremony with Puma and a local Q'ero Master to express our gratitude to Pachamama and the Apus. Learn about Puma's mother's foundation, the Ayni Ayllu Weaving Cooperative and pick up a few treasures for ourselves and loved ones back home.

Our journey continues to Machu Picchu and we will have the opportunity to visit this awe-inspiring site over two days. Enjoy time with Puma and also independently to truly experience the magnificence of this great testament to Incan civilization, and to sit peacefully with the powerful energies here.

After a beautiful train ride through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, known as The Sanctuary of the Wind, where we will visit Temple of the Sun, the Royal Baths and Fountains, and Temple of the Condor, we make our way to Pachar, an unspoilt, seldom visited and very special and sacred Inca Ceremonial Site for our Spring Equinox Ceremony.

The work we do here will consolidate the transformational cleansing we have done on our journey, inspiring us to live our soul’s purpose with positive energy on our return home. Before our journey ends we will visit Pisac, as well as the Ccochahuasi Animal Sanctuary to work with the energy of the condor and complete our process.

Our journey also provides an optional extension to Lake Titicaca – The Heart of Mama Cocha – an opportunity not to be missed. Explore the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca and the Uros Floating Islands. These islands, made of Tortora reeds, are home to the Uros people who, according to legend, existed before the sun when the earth was cold and dark. The islands attract visitors from all over and offer a unique opportunity to learn about ancient practices and traditions and a chance to admire the simple way of life of the people. We will witness these traditions first-hand when we stay in a “homestay” on the island of Amantaní – a truly unique and humbling experience. We will continue the transformational work we have been doing and will visit important sacred sites and temples on this extension, such as Raqchi, also known as the Temple of Wiracocha, the God Creator of the Andes. We will journey to Aramu Muru’s Doorway in the Valley of the Spirits, known to be a portal into other dimensions, and be led into ceremony to honour our own personal growth and our own rebirth and crossing into our new life.
