A glimpse of the lives of two friends-enemies Pacebbene and Cyril, that clash, comparing and fun. A comedy with ingredients surreal, brilliant, funny but they do reflect, will be staged at the Teatro della Cometa 7 to 25 January 2015 directed by Enrico Maria Lamanna: EMERGENCY EXIT written by Manlio Santanelli staged Vittorio Viviani and Gino Auriuso.
Santanelli, author, writer and contemporary Naples, told in a unique and fun, a glimpse of the lives of two friends-enemies (Pacebbene and Cyril) locked in a "shack in danger" what is their home, in a Naples suffocated by the phenomenon of bradyseism, where the warm colors and true of the sea, the sun, the streets, the neighborhoods, the people, give way to the intense grayness that reigns in the home where they found the two protagonists. They purposely chose the 'isolation, breaking, detachment from the outside world, never leave the house except for extreme necessity and then re-enter quickly, like hunted mercilessly by a hunter in his lair defeat, ruin, empty, sad ... In this precarious material and moral, and Cyril Pacebbene tell you until you get to reveal tragicomic aspects of their lives.
Writing a twinge of delusional paradoxes and hyperbolic metaphors, yet solidly immediate, writing from the borders open, where there is, on the one hand, a deviation, an estrangement toward the absurd, on the other hand, a high coefficient of theatricality, clear in tremendous perceptiveness body, a corporeal imperfect, which features almost all of his characters. In FIRE ESCAPE bradyseism therefore is a metaphor for life, The earth trembles that is to be seen as a metaphor of the instability of man, of unhappiness. We are part of the landscape in which we live and the landscape is part of us. The uncertain movements of the earth, shaking our certainties and difficult reconstructions fail to fill in the gaps.
