Message from Santa Claus
Santa Claus wants to tell all the kids and the big world:
Remember to be good, tolerant, positive!
Goodness mean three different things:
- You must, first of all, be friendly and help one another.
- Second, you have to be good to yourself. This means that it is good that you develop your personal skills through study, practice sports, writing letters, for example, or through other positive things. Give a smile, to yourselves and to all those who need it: I receive so much good!
3. Finally, you have respect for nature and animal friends! The goodness and peace are very important for Santa! Santa Claus hopes that you be polite and attentive to the future. He also wants you to cultivate hobbies.
You know that the new millennium provides fantastic opportunities for those who work hard, who develop their skills and who believe in their dreams?
The village of Santa Claus
Santa Claus lives with his helpers, the elves, at Korvatunturi. However, long ago decided to come and be in contact with people in other times of the year. Consequently, after many surveys, with the help of his good friends, he decided to build his own village near the town of Rovaniemi, at the point where the highway north crosses the magical Arctic Circle.
Santa has wanted to have an international airport close to his village, where visitors from all parts of the Earth could easily come and visit him. He also wished to have a town nearby, so that guests could stay and safely witness the northern way of life and nature, with the help of expert guides. All of these conditions have been met by the present location in Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle.
