"The ways of return"

FLORENCE. It opens Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 17 o'clock in the Sale Fabiani Palazzo Medici Riccardi (Via Cavour 3, Florence), the exhibition of paintings by the artist Paola Vallini Pisan entitled "The ways of the return." The exhibition, organized in collaboration with FuoriLuogo-services for the Arts and the CRA Center Art Collection, curated by Filippo Lotti, while the critical text of the brochure accompanying the exhibition is the art critic Hilary Luper. The artist will present about thirty paintings result of work done from 2010 until today. A path, that of Paola Vallini, who, through the informal, seeks new forms of joints. The sign has value in itself, as the emotional bond and declination of a story. There is freedom, necessity, of thinking and acting, evoking feelings intimate. The real power of expression of the artist lies in knowing how to use the right mix of form and color, a prerogative that characterizes the great artists. "In the works in which the material gives way to a mixed color that creates smooth frayed and corroded - writes Luper -, we capture more elements of the opposition rather than harmony. It is an opposition between feelings, sensations, suggestions, conflicting thoughts that trouble for their presence and for the difficulty to amalgamate. The artistic research has become for Paola Vallini a reason for living. " Since 2002 one of his paintings has become part of the contemporary art collection of the Palazzo Panciatichi seat of the Regional Council of Tuscany. The Tuscan capital has played a leading role in many other occasions, even if one of Palazzo Medici Riccardi will be the first one in the city of Florence and follows its important exhibition in Senegal where Paola Vallini acquired new life and artistic pictorial unexplored paths from undertake. The exhibition will be open to visitors until March 1, 2015. Opening hours: daily from 9 am to 19. Closed on Wednesday.
