Dead City Ruins Move To Europe
Riot Police On Alert
The hardest working band in Australian rock n roll DEAD CITY RUINS are biting the bullet and moving to Europe to chase their dreams and nightmares.
Having just won the prestigious Cherry Award for Best Saturday Act of 2014 the Melbourne heroes of hairy hard rock guitar farewell Australia with one final show in AC/DC Lane supported by Redcoats and The Black Aces on Saturday 28 February. There’s talk of this night breaking the world record for most amount of denim ever gathered in one place at one time.
Mastodon, Skid Row, Orange Goblin, Diamond Head and Ugly Kid Joe have all invited Dead City Ruins to share their stages over three previous European tours by the brutal Oz Pub Rock proponents. Tours and live shows that inspired Metalville Records to sign the band to an international record deal the envy of every other heavy act in Australia.
But touring Australia, Indonesia and Europe wasn’t enough for these bad boys. Dead City Ruins want to taste more than Melbourne Bitter. They yearn for international recognition, success and all the rock n roll trappings. So with balls of steel, they are taking their relentless street rock n roll out of its spiritual home in AC/DC Lane and launching it upon Europe as they choose to live there and give it everything they’ve got. The blood, the sweat, the beers!
Don’t miss Dead City Ruins “Farewell Australia” show Saturday 28 February at Cherry Bar. Where else?! Hate to see them go. Just have to be at this show. God bless rock n roll. Dead City Ruins, doing it for Australia!
