A dream world and visionary is imprisoned in the films of Heinz Schattner. The well-known German photographer, adoption Italian, returns from 11 to 24 February 2015, in bylaws13 Gallery, in the heart of Brera, with a series of shots is attributable to its past is its contemporary creativity. The exhibition is sponsored by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Milan. The poetics of which availed itself in this new project is certainly imbued with a strong surreal that, if duly married the meanderings of the human psyche, is characterized by an intense, almost misleading, but never predictable: the shock of the visual and sensory. Wants to seize the moment - Carpe Diem in fact - and the fatal instant, fast to that feeling and that vibration perceived at that moment and not in another. Landscapes by whites and blacks caught in front of the sea of Capri to those typically Sicilian, Heinz Schattner "steals" moments, lights, views and then donate them to the user with generous and intense intuition. The portraits, however, are extremely contrasting in appearance and content: the impetus visceral soul is bound to the past and a "candor" almost foolhardy but pure as that of a child who is going to his stage play. Everything is therefore enacted outright in photographic composition; almost to want to engage emotionally. Here finally the modern Still Life (still life): so irreverent and out of contexts to which we are accustomed. We can therefore say that the works that are surreal Heinz Schattner presents to us, because they are the end result of an aesthetic intent, but a liberation of their irrational instincts and therefore of his creative sphere. To understand and be able to observe in particular some of the new stunning in all their power that remains is to take part in the show imaginative and possibly bloody Wunderkammer of intimate space in which you can attend to a modern way of the cross all the time where women are touched themes of violence and discrimination. A crown of thorns as a tacit symbol changes as a witness in the hands of the protagonists of the images full of pathos and despair that will be exhibited in a sort of "black box". It will be right there in the place where the artist will share once again a part of their "self" with the public bystander ... that will be intrigued more than ever.
