Ibiza has been bound from half of the 20th century to the reputation of a hippie island, an idea born in the 60s, during the war of Vietnam, when the first American young people took refuge in a small island in the Mediterranean sea, in order to escape from the conflict.
The “refuge island” became a place of pilgrimage in the 60s and a place of residence for intellectuals, artists, aristocrats and free souls.
