Guerilla Science presents Sensory Speed Dating

Morbid Anatomy Museum 424A 3rd Ave, Gowanus, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Date: Saturday, April 4th
Time: 8pm
Admission: $24 - Tickets are for 2 persons
Location: Morbid Anatomy Museum, 424 Third Avenue, 11215 Brooklyn

Explore how your senses drive your desires through an evening of visceral interactions with strangers. Learn about the diverse ways we communicate nonverbally and who knows, you might even get lucky! We're presenting six tantalizing sets of sensational challenges--each one promises to awaken a new appreciation for the multisensory nature of attraction. Smell, hear, taste, touch, see and move your way to a new awareness of the dynamic unconscious.

A neuroscientist will be on-hand to guide you through the fascinating science of human behavior. All attendees must come with a daring friend who will help them through the experience. We will have two complete rounds, so everyone gets a chance to participate. This promises to be an unforgettable evening for anyone seeking a rare adventure.

Guerilla Science creates events and installations for festivals, museums, galleries, and other cultural clients. We are committed to connecting people with science in new ways, and producing live experiences that entertain, inspire, challenge and amaze.

From music festivals to national art galleries, department stores to derelict hospitals, Guerilla Science has pioneered a genuinely innovative mode of communicating and celebrating science since 2008, in the precise places where science (and scientists) are most unexpected. Over 40,000 people have seen our events in person, and over 200 scientists and academics have taken part in our unique projects that “mix science with art, music and play”. Our success is evidenced by widespread press coverage: GS has featured in international print, radio, television and online media sources that have received more than 10 million views.
