Join us Saturday, April 18th at 7:00 pm, at the Wesleyan Chapel, for a performance by Hobart and William Smith Colleges theater group, Mosaic NY. The group, under the artistic direction of Heather May, Hobart and William Smith Colleges Associate Professor of Theater, will perform their original production of "Sentimental for Declarations”.
The student’s performance reflects the legacy of the Declaration of Sentiments. Signed in 1848 at the first Women’s Rights Convention, the Declaration of Sentiments outlined the rights American women are entitled to as citizens. Today, over 165 years later, the conversation surrounding the struggle for equal rights for women continues through Mosaic NY’s performance.
