Please join us for PrideFit, a community health and wellness event organized by representatives from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals' Division of Endocrinology, the William Way LGBT Community Center, Optimal Sport 1315, LGBT Elder Initiative, Mazzoni Center, MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance), and Team Philadelphia.
The event includes a FREE full day health summit with:
- Informative TEDTalk-style presentations
- Massage, acupuncture, holistic health, chiropractic, pharmaceutical, sport, and nutrition vendors
- Free food and beverage samples throughout the day
- Free glucose level and blood pressure screenings

• High blood pressure
• High blood sugar levels
• Excess body fat
• Abnormal cholesterol levels
Presenters will discuss prevention, treatment, how metabolic diseases uniquely affect the LGBT community, and how metabolic diseases affect other body systems (i.e. cardiovascular, reproductive, and immune systems).
This event is FREE and FOR EVERYONE, because it's never too early or too late to become educated about ways to prevent and treat metabolic diseases.
