Join us to assist the farmer with spring planting, harvesting, caring for, and cleaning vegetables!
Casa Navarro State Historic Site will be on-site cooking pan de campo, also known as camp bread. Volunteers with have the opportunity to see how pan de campo was traditionally baked and to understand its role in the history and culture of Texas.
Please bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants and long-sleeved shirt are recommended, gloves provided. Children are welcome, as long as they are supervised by their parent/guardian.
