ABOUT MONTINA COOPER
Born in St. Louis, MO, but raised in Houston, TX, Montina Cooper (www.montinacooper.com) is who the industry’s heavy hitters call when they need an expert in the business—her career spans a decade and has included national and international tours with noted artists like Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, and Kelly Rowland, just to name a few. She is one of the three singers who make up the world-renowned background group The Mama's, and has headlined in clubs and venues around the world as her fan following continues to escalate.
A premier singer, songwriter, producer, and vocal arranger, it was Montina Cooper who arranged “The National Anthem” as sung by Destiny’s Child at the 2006 All Star Game as their last collective performance. Her vocal production was featured on the motion picture soundtrack Hitch as well as Kelly Rowland’s Ms. Kelly album, and The Logo Network featured two of her songs, “Lounge” & “Opposites”, on their popular series Noah’s Ark.
As impressive as her musical resume stands, it is only the beginning for Montina. She continues to tour with Beyoncé and simultaneously grow as a singer, songwriter, producer, and entertainer who is taking center stage.
